With the semiconductor industry garnering more attention than ever, Lam Research came to Iris with an awareness crisis.

As a global supplier of innovative wafer fabrication equipment and services​, Lam stood with little to no brand awareness amongst a vast, very blue, competitive category flooded with ‘possibility’.




     With offices closed, we walked the fence to get to the heart of what Lam does best: Push the limits and achieve the unthinkable,  because we prove that it can be done.

Taking inspiration from the very chips that Lam technology helps create, we generated an array of new brand elements to be used across all global communications.

The new, flexible brand palette consists of sophisticated, yet vibrant, colors that evoke the brand’s elegance, warmth, and intelligence.

Circular shapes contrast the triangle of the logo and are used to highlight moments within photography and add texture as a pattern, symbolizing scale, precision and repeatability.





     We created comprehensive global brand and facility guidelines–acting as a blueprint for designing workplaces that reflect Lam’s brand foundation and visual identity.

     Refreshing Lam’s  website  was a crucial part of the brand transformation. Our team created over 350 assets, showing how the new look, feel and tone would come to life across a responsive platform.
